Our Broken American Hearts is an art exhibition reflecting on our complex relationship with the United States and the ambivalent feelings of love and disappointment many of us hold toward the country. The U.S. is a constant source of both inspiration and confrontation. The exhibition explores how hope can transform into despair through war and crises—“our broken American hearts.

Participating artists included Johanna Billing, Kalle Brolin, Karin Broos, Dror Feiler, Gonzalo Frasca (UY), Maria Friberg, Coco Fusco (USA), Björn Melhus (DE), Erik Pauser, Ride1, Åsa Sjöström, and Gunilla Sköld Feiler.

The exhibition is curated by Erik Berggren, Mariadele Arcuri, Kosta Economou and Anna Öst.
