Chemistry of Life is an immersive Fulldome 3D experience that takes viewers on a journey into the nanoscopic world of life itself. We fly through an electron microscope, travel inside a leaf, and explore the brain’s intricate networks of neurons.
The film makes the invisible biomolecular world tangible, revealing how life’s essential functions—breathing, eating, and thinking—arise from biochemical processes within our cells and mitochondria, the body’s energy producers. The dome format lets the audience experience what it’s like to shrink to nanoscopic scales and witness the molecular machinery that powers life.
Created in collaboration with biomedical animator Drew Berry, Chemistry of Life features molecular visualizations never before realized in the fulldome format.
